Passion Fruit

Passion fruit and maracuja are the fruit of two types of the passion flower. The dark-red, slightly wrinkled skin of the passion fruit covers many seeds embedded in orange-yellow pulp. The latter are nicely crisp and provide a special taste sensation together with the sweet-sour aroma.

The pulp of the passion fruit is very aromatic and dried it is ideal for nibbling or to be added into muesli or desserts.
